Just sharing thoughts….
I have a very good relationship with Panerai in Spain and recently I was given the oportunity to enjoy a Luminor DUE. In theory a watch that is toooo small for my taste….and not vintage and/or damaged enough to awake my emotion….(or at least that is what I thought…)Image

I could never imagine to be enjoying so much this beautyImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

The very very thin case they have been able to achieve with the nee movement is really STUNING!!! It feels like one of the old Daytonas…and somehow it still keeps the sturdines of our beloved PAMS…

I see a recepy for the future….this superthin case…with truly submersible qualities…and a vintage Rolex movement inside…🥹🥹🥹ImageImageImageImage

Have a great day!!

I really like the look of the 38mm Due - look forward to seeing what it inspires you to make

I’ve tried it on. It’s a very nice watch. Sadly, the water resistance with this iteration is laughable. Hopefully, a future model will fix this.

Interesting thoughts Josep - thank you.
The thin case is very appealing but a pity that in this day and age the company did not get a grip on the water resistance issue.
Remove the date window, age the case and it starts to get interesting.
A future homage: is anyone out there brave enough to make us some 38mm thinner cases!

Thinner is better imo….
