Brand/Model: Luminor + Radiomir

Location: SE Asia

Price: 2000usd (luminor) + 1800usd (radiomir)

Details and Pics:

TAGGED PICTURE REQUIRED (SEE SALE AND TRADE GUIDELINES)

For those who know me from RWG (or from here where I am a recent member) you may be acquainted with my passion for vintage diving watches and efforts to build accurate homages, in this case when info was rare and homage parts were not industrialized as today.
some may ask why am I letting go two pieces that took long to build and upgrade (luminor started in 2004 and ended in 2019 with self made and self applied pressure bars and radiomir between 2007 and 2020, with the installation of a pair of lead gaskets, under the bezel and between caseback and mid case; the partial answer is I am a traveller and carry my watches with me, noticing that these two go in and out of the box but no longer have wrist time, being victimized by smaller size watches that are more comfortable than the 47mm and dog collar straps.
Both watches are heavily modified and the radiomir has a specially built mid case.
Among other features, luminor has a rare cortebert movement (as Rolex cal.514 Eaton), and radiomir a cal.616, both original and running and from the 30’s and 40’s.
Tropics custom made, hands aged as well as the dials and cases.
Radiomir has a self made and self sewn strap with a period buckle and luminor press fitted lug bars with a thick built strap.
Both have 3 layer dials and aged differently, more reddish indices in the radiomir with gentle hint of lume.
I will not use them often so they must go.

Both are with me in SE Asia where they will be shipped from.
You can have more background info on my builds searching in my older posts in RWG.

I will also choose the buyer and will reserve myself the right not to sell to anyone I may not be comfortable with - sorry about that but I prefer not to sell at all.

I will ship by Fedex and costs are for the buyer and once out of the country I will not be responsible for loss, customs harassment etc.

Prices are 2000usd for the luminor and 1800usd for the radiomir, non negotiable, added by shipping costs;
these are meaningful pieces and I know I will regret later.

Please PM me if interested but acknowledge the described conditions before pressing the button.

Buyer must be an active member of the forum and credited accordingly.
Paypal accepted.

Thank you.
best,
M.

Hi. If you have any doubt you can contact me directly or inform yourself on the background data i refer in RWG forum.
This is a transitional movement, rare and known as Rolex 514 (Eaton) from the late 20’s which precedes the cal. 618 released in 1933, both with 17 jewels and sharing the same ebauche. The ebauche is marked cal.618, under the balance wheel.
I had a privileged education, teaching me to read and research before exposing my doubts; in case I cannot solve the doubt by myself I raise it, asking.
I guess you are raising without asking but I share the image below for your reference and clarification.
In case its not enough please try to clarify anywhere else but not in my sales post. Thank you.
