Panerai OP III / Valjoux 7750-P1 Alternative

Hi,

by pure coincidence, I got my hands on a heavy water damaged pam107 with the OP III caliber.
Had a quick look and it seems the watch stood still for many, many years without anyone caring to restore it.
From what I can tell, I would need to replace at least half of the movement.

The idea is to replace the whole thing. I did try to locate a Valjoux 7750-P1, as the OP III is based on this, but it seems these are super rare.
Spoke to my watchmaker already, who mentioned a sellita alternative, but was not able to find it in the documents he has on hand.

Can any of you give advice where to look?

thx.

Lupo

I am talking about a genuine watch. And I am looking for a gen-swiss 7750-p1 (non-chronograph) movement. I am afraid Ali will not be the right place.

guys, I did try everything. it is easy to get a 77xx chronograph., but I am after the NON CHRONOGRAPH version of the movement, it is super rare. Valjoux 7750-P1 is a movement where the whole chrono module is missing. I will just order parts separately and replace the whole thing. I did manage to clean half way good the damaged plates. Let's hope the watch will live again.
I may even be able to send the movement plates for rhodium plating, once tested for function. Will be expensive, will take ages...

Sure. Not hard to remove the module. I ordered a bunch of internals (parts are quite common for this movement) and will do the assembly soon. I hope it lives again.
