A little side project I'd love some feedback on

Hi everyone,
Its been quite a while since I last posted here, but I thought this might be a good place to ask for some honest opinions.
Over the past months I’ve been working on a native macOS and iPhone app for managing my watches, movements and workshop projects. It started as a small tool for my own bench because I was feed up with Excel and sticky notes, but somewhere along the way it grew into something much bigger than I’d ever planned. I honestly never intended to share it with anyone, but my partner kept telling me that if I found it useful, there were probably others who would too.
So, I'm hoping I will be able to invite a small number of people to try it out in the near future.
After spending so much time on it, I know I’m probably becoming a little blind to some of my own design decisions. That’s why I’m looking for honest feedback rather than compliments; what feels intuitive, what doesn’t, and what you’d change.
If that sounds interesting, or if you have any questions, just leave a reply and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks!

Application software. My wife says this is very easy to do due to existing software that can be customized to fit your needs without knowing how to code(though she knows 5 different code languages I believe) She actually does this regularly and then shares with subordinates and other executives in her field.

It’s a watchmaking workflow app for MacOS and iOS, for keeping track of watch repairs, services and restoration work. It has two main workspaces; one for watches you buy, repair/service, document and eventually resell, and another for traditional customer repair/service jobs. The idea is to keep everything connected in one place and fully synced across Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Just copied and pasted this to make it easy
Application software refers to user-facing programs designed to perform specific tasks or activities, such as word processing, data management, or web browsing. It runs on top of your operating system (system software) and turns your computer or device into a useful tool for daily work and life.
I used to work in tech consulting, my wife is an executive in tech. The amount of questions i have to ask when she is telling me about work is on another level! I constantly have to ask what things mean, then ask more questions because I dont even understand those explanations

. Its literally questions on top of questions, then requesting she simplify the answers.

Aha, I see. Thanks for the explanation

My program isn't that advanced, its basically an app for watchmakers to keep track of watches, movements, parts and customers. A "fancy" database to help one at the bench

This is literally application software. If you are not using this yet, check these out. They are free. They will build front end UI & data store for you if you tell it what to build
