We have seen the bare brass Cortebert 618 a couple of times, but this one has 620/624 bridge configuration and thickness and only "Swiss made" engravings. The crown has no Rolex markings so I would suspect it is not original. The ratchet wheel seems a little small to me,but I am by no means an expert and it can be an optical delusion...So the question would be: Have you ever seen a one like this?

Is it the same?

What does it say under the intermediate winding wheel, is it calibre 618?
I didn’t check that deep Master Yoda :) didn’t pay much attention to it. That time i just think all the same 616, 618, 620.
What so special on 618?
I prefer Rolex elinvar at least got word elinvar balance & hpg also Breguet hfg.
Question why “hpg” repeated 2x elinvar and breguet. Why not just engrave Breguet Elinvar HPG.

The 618 became so popular because Panerai used it in their vintage models, basically the same movement as the 616,plus 2 extra jewels on newer models.

I thought so.
I didn’t take photo. That’s the only photo in my phone the one he sent when asked for help.
To be honest looked more like Molly to me then i asked Ampere, he confirmed it’s 618.

Alas, only German speakers will get the full fun out of the description. But it is still worth trying Google translator ;)
