I have rediscovered the humble river steel case set recently and am amazed how well finished, wearable, and accurate to the genuine one it is. The basic simple gasket changes gives this 1000m wr. I’m intermittently looking at images from the panerai museum and comparing the two. Seems a lot lighter in than bronze also, well able to take the nato/zulu strap. Its also a bit of nostalgia, in 2011 I got my hands on my first esdee steel prototype, v similar.
