My double wristy day as always. Both 51+ years old. First one 6309-8000 was a gift from my uncle to my dad. It sit a long time in several different drawers and when one day I decided to clean it the plexi came off. After a long research I managed to collect 2 after market correct replacement plexis from cousinsuk. I cleaned mildly damaged inners, and the dial. Gently hand polished the case and voilà. After a long search for a suitable one, I could score a proper buffalo leather strap, adjusted it down to 19mm. I love our granddad watch days with my son.

The other one, 6139-7100 stormtrooper helmet, aka Darth Wader is in a very mint condition, still having the factory lines and polishing on the case except a couple of almost invisible minor dents and scratches. It even has the original ss bracelet.

My once long forgotten, but now and then worn vintage seikos have a very special place in my collection ImageImageImage
