Where I had trained, an older more mature workmate had showed me an homage Panerai watch he got online and I ended up finding Getat watches and later Jackson Tse.
Well, as some recall, Getat was notorious for just dragging his feet and you’d really have to email a bunch of times to get a move on that guy
.I ended up finding this forum and I think my first mod was putting in a new skeletonized 6497-asian movement into that Getat watch and aging the hands.
The first “big” project from start to finish was the famed Silix 3646 styled case with those little spring bars tucked in inside.
The rest was history.
