This chuck also acts as flywheel due to it's mass...
Of course for tiny work and polishing, I can easily switch to 3 inch chuck...
On second picture you can see 3 inch chuck on top of headstock..

Well, I'm pretty satisfied with 3 inch chuck for small jobs. Hence, I can't turn any larger diam than 70 mm, it is impossible... I need to make specific tools for specific jobs. Also, in my workshop there is no place for larger lathe. So this is sort of solution, for now...
Now I can turn up to 125 mm, which is more than enough.
Also, turning small diameters of hard material is 10x easier and smoother with large chuck...
