47mm egi case, Ross dial and hour hand, Molnija 3602, I tried to make some tall tube hands using some brass tubes I bought from eBay but it didn’t quite go to plan so I threw it in a drawer that must’ve been 4 years ago, then work just took over (I run my own business) and I forgot all about it same as all the others... now I’m determined to finish them all... wish me luck

Had an issue, 2mm dial, 6497 movement and a blue 3646 hands for a Cort 616.

Start thinking about the issue and here’s the result:

Image

Tall hour wheel from a 6497 that takes a 616 hands.

Next cannon pinion.

From the old pocket watch cases I’ve around the place, those with lid I removed the tube that opens case front lid.

By hand I’ve used a file to adjust the tube length. After achieving the size I trimmed by hand one side from the outside and broached the opposite side.

I was measuring with an original 616 hands and a spare H2 hour wheel.

Attached the tube to the wheel using press fit. I was reading around the forum about attaching tubes to the hands, and notice that people talked about pressure fit. So applied the same. To attached and ensure it is straight, I used a spring bar that as the size I need, again a broken part that was lost in the drawer. Just need to broach the blue hands a little bit.

The problem is the cannon pinion. Not sure own to pull that one, but I’m thinking on it.

Sure! The strap is the only one I have left (I will get a new one in the future). It's a mix of green, blue and brown.ImageImage
