I thought I would present myself again in our new home.
First, let's get rid of the not so inspired nickname
! MK are my initials, FR is for France and 91 the region code where I live. It's a stupid nickname I first came up with to register on eBay, then WUS and other sites until I discovered HF (in 2014 I think). Now I'd rather hang on to it for simplicity (same nickname on Instagram)...I am 43, married (2nd time) and I have two kids (12 and 2 years old). I am a scientist doing basic research in cell biology and biochemistry.
I think I always had a thing for watches since I was a kid (my first that I can remember was a simple Casio with a golf game....wish I kept it!).
Fast forward...to make it short, I liked PAM homages and bought one from Getat...then I joined HF, lurked for a while and the bug bit me! I have only one build to speak of, a 6152/1 (I will copy the thread from old HF) that took me more than a year to make. It's now sold along with a few others that I bought and sold from esteemed HF members (trade is part of the fun!). I wish my wrist was bigger so I could wear a 3646 cali !! I also like and follow microbrands offers (visitorwatchco, gruppogamma, magrette, etc.).
Unfortunately, I had other priorities inlife and I could not build again...but I should get back to it soon. I always enjoy and admire the great builds or accessories posted here (Kilowattore, Kpoy, Belkin12, Betmen
