No Red Flags . . . At All . .

So, I decided to pony up for a watch on Chrono24.

Found one at a price I could live with, contacted the seller:

Good Afternoon: I am interested in the JLC Reverso Gran Sport, being offered for $3.889 Cdn. I would like to ask the following: Is the reversed case back blank or has it
been engraved? I would like to know the size of the strap and watch ( if the leather strap will go around my 24 Cm wrist)? Thank You,

They replied:

"Hi it s not engraved behing for the 24cm no problem and for the price, we can make shipping for free
Best regards "

I replied: "That is great. I will take it"

Then came the reply:

"Hi
yes, we send you the invoice by email you can make the wire to our account 2490eur shipping
included Name of the bank: Bankia
Account number: ES1620383272186000220754
Bic/swift: GBMNESMMXXX
we need your full name and adress with phone number for the invoice and shipping
And please, send us the copy for the wire when it will be done to lock the watches definitely for you

Ok, so I sent my details and said, "I will wait for the invoice"

Then The Fun started:

"Hi
did you make the wire ? because another custumer order the watches a few minutes ago by wire also
you can see the picture in attachment of the order if is done, please send the copy to cancel with the other custumer
we dont want to have 2 wire for the same watches because we have only 1 in stock
Best regards "

I reply, "No, I did not send a wire because you were going to send me an invoice. If you have another customer, please do sell it to them. If the sale does not go through, I will buy it" *I really, really wanted say "WHEN the deal does not go through, but still, the tiniest benefit of the doubt*

So, this morning: " Hi Yes, we didn t get the wire from the other custumer"

So, I logged in and paid the full asking price plus the full shipping price, using Chrono24's escrow service.

Then cometh the reply:

" And the price we make for you is not with chrono 24 Because they take commissions and we will be paid 2 weeks after you get the watches.
Then, not interesting for us
Hope you understand
Best regards "

I reply, "I do not understand. Are you canceling the sale, after I offered to pay full price plus shipping?"

And then: " Yes, we dont want be paid by trusted checkout."

" This order has been canceled. Reason: Other reasons "

No red flags there, at all . . .
