Replacing a balance staff in a Hamilton 10 size movement. These are easy, the staff is friction fit and the hub is blue to tell that you don't need to use a lathe.
Disassembled.
New staff.
And assembled. 10 minutes.

Thank you for showing! Knowing how delicate these balances are I always find it fascinating how someone can seemingly effortless go ahead and manipulate them... I don’t feel clumsy in any way but I‘d likely crush the whole thing in a second. I might as well need a good pair of glassesYoda wrote: ↑February 18th, 2021, 2:37 am Replacing a balance staff in a Hamilton 10 size movement.
