Well done, yet another watchmaker in the house! Do you take orders?
What are you working on now?

Noohoooo! I will send a few movements to you next week, some have friction fit staffs and some will need a visit to the lathe, a service and you are done. Deal?
Hehehe!

Ahahah. Impossible, for now, just to replace the staff I’ve damaged a balance wheel and hairspring. Luckily I had plenty of spare parts.Yoda wrote:Noohoooo! My next try will be fixing that movement that I once sent to you but it has a broken second wheel pinion. Need to fix that one and fix a movement with a broken center wheel.
But let me practice and in the future we will have a deal

Oh and I just subscribe a watchmaker course. Will be an entire year with 12 hours theory and 12 hours practice classes. The problem now is the lockdown, everything is closed for at least 1 more month and the course will presencial. So don’t know when it will start.

Re: What are you working on now?
oh crap! ... really?! I haven't opened it up yet, I just got it from amazon
you mean "stick" like lint and dust? .... mine has 3 small closing lid containers built in ... and I notice that on the right corner there are magnets embedded in the silicone. This being more of an electronics type mat. I will have to cut out the magnets from the back side if I'm going to use it.
