Source of ETA 2824 hands

Post by calvinktlim »

I have a 'homage' to the certina ds-3 super ph1000m.... well its the re-issue with originally hideous redesigned hands. The photo shows that a previously owner had replaced the hands with sword hands which is overall fitting the re-design.

I am now contemplating changing up the hands to something even closer to the original and to get someone to lume the hands with that hideous green lume to match.

The other way (but irreversible) would be to lume the original dial to old radium (tritium color)...

Any thoughts and recommendation for source of hands?ImageImage

you could get hands for the model you have and paint those to match the old reference!

Those original hands look wierd. But I'm sure there must be loads of aftermarket hands for the eta2824 and one of those can be used.

Ah thanks. Let me email raffles. I am not sure how to contact yuki. As for namoki and dlw, I thought they are doing seiko mods only.
