If the movement is loose you can maybe use a thicker movement ring + the backing plate if the stem height is not affected, of course

I’ve wanted to include one in a build but don’t know where to find them or the process in fabricating my own

I am not sure of total dial thickness. There was dried resin on back side of dial that added thickness too.
For some reason it looks better to me.(maybe because it fit together properly) It probably is the height of hands.
