here in nowhereville... our post is run by two women, and two carriers, they close for lunch... and don't stay open till even five.
they take international packages, you pay postage, they toss it in a corner and fill out the paperwork later.
that's all fine and well, except... if they cant read your writing they toss it in a different corner and wait for you to come in to clarify the paper work.
still, fine ok, but if the person who took it initially isn't working the day you come back in, over there it sits till you are both there again, and it gets fixed, but only if she remembers that its there and needs clarification. this has led to packages being more than a month delayed after dropped off at the post, or recently i had one travel all the way to Italy, sit there for a while only to end back up in my post box. this makes everyone more than a little peeved...
