Hello again!

Post by vavavoom »

Hi everyone!

I am very new around here. I joined the old HF forum last year when there was an opportunity to enter the forum; wanted to for quite a while, but there were issues with registration. . I enjoy reading about the builds done by the members here from the pam homages to the some really insane builds. Don't have the courage to build myself, really admire you guys. I appreciate the resources available here and look forward to continue to engage with the members in this forum!

Have a great day ahead!

My first build started with a $100 budget. Turned out to be the most expensive $100 build as 8 years later.....

My suggestion is buy an inexpensive watch and start modding. First the hands....or perhaps the dial. In no time, you will be comfortable with these little mods.

I think the easiest mod (aside from a new strap or bracelet) is a new case back :D

Haha new strap and bracelet I have done (fortunately okay to do that). Definitely will try caseback as well :)

Just another thought.
If you like divers you may also like the Seiko SNZH from the Seiko 5 series or the Seiko SKX.
If you search for Dagaz and Yobokies you will find a plethora of dials, hands, inserts and bezels with which you can mod it.
It is really straightforward and the mods are a lot of fun to wear.
And of course, we are there to help :)
